Saying farewell to some of our much loved patients
"Peanut was a rescue dog from Serbia and we had her for three and a half years, giving her a caring and loving home. She was a lovely dog with a character that was heart warming to everyone that met her. We have certainly never known a dog like Peanut. She has now gone to the dog kennels in the sky and will probably be looking for bacon, her favourite treat!"
Martin & Gill Svensen
"Buddy was an energetic and excitable dog who loved the freedon of being out running, swimming and being off minding his own business with not a care in the world like the 'Littlest Hobo'. He was a wonderful house dog who was loyal and devoted"
Jo & Mike Jeffery
"Toby - a loving and loyal member of our family for 18 years. The house now seems oh so quiet. We miss you"
From Linda, Ian, Andy, Laura and Rich

We would love to have you back to greet us, take you out for your walkies and little trips in the car, but those are now our treasured memories of you and you will always be in our hearts so sleep now mate, and when the time comes we will see you again. xx 14/5/17 xx"

"Although we only had Snoopy for a short while, he has left a massive hole in our lives and will be sorely missed. For a little dog he had a massive personality and loved meeting other dogs. We hope he is enjoying himself in the great kennel in the sky meeting and greeting the other dogs."
Kevin, Fiona & Stephen Towler

"Our most dearest Gus. Taken from us so suddenly and far too soon. The most handsome and sweetest dog there ever was. You are so sorely missed and have left a huge hole in our lives. We loved you so much and if love alone could have saved you, would have lived forever"
Mr & Mrs Hardy
"Dillon you will always be in my heart"
"We had Bart for 17½ years. He was an extremely friendly and loving cat who would always talk to you and sit with you day and night. He used 8 of his 9 lives up at the age of 1 when he narrowly survived being hit by a car, so we were extremely grateful for the many years we had with him thereafter. He will always be fondly remembered and sorely missed."
Love Carole & Chris x
"Thank you Harry for being such a big part of our lives for so many years. We have such lovely memories of you. You were a real character"
Jackie, Lauren & Adam x
"I have loved all the dogs I have rescued, but they say there is always one that is extra special and that was 'My Boy' Diesel. You were larger than life and for a big boy you could be so cute. Such a wonderful social boy, you were a fantastic role model, accepting other dogs in your home. But now, hopefully, you have been reunited with your sole mate Chelsea, playing tug. Zola and Fred miss you as much as I do. Everyone knew how special you were. Never forgotten and so much loved, 'My Boy'"
"Maya turned up on our doorstep 4 years ago in a very sorry state. We got her sorted out and she soon became part of the family. She turned out to be the most affectionate and sociable cat we have ever known. She loved people and everyone loved her. We are so glad she chose us to look after her and we miss her"
Tony & Brenda Buckle
"This week we said goodbye to our beautiful Jo-Jo. She gave us 9 & a half years of love, loyalty, friendship, fun and so much more. She helped keep us sane during what has been a difficult 12 months and we cannot begin to say how much our 'gentle giant' will be missed. We also said goodbye to her soulmate Kyla 4 years ago and hopefull they are now reunited and running free together over Rainbow Bridge. It is time to move on but our beloved Deerhounds will never be forgotten"
Rosemary and Fred Thompson
"Bentley, from the first moment you came into our lives you were a little sweetie. You loved a kiss and a cuddle and was always happiest when tucked up next to us on the sofa. You never grumbled when you became poorly and we all tried our best to keep you with us. We were hearbroken when you left us too soon but we remember the happy times we all had together and will treasure these for ever more"
Tracey & Steve Hunt
"Ollie was more than a pet to us, he was just the best and wonderful companion a family could ever ask for. He was truly a one in a million dog who fulfilled all of our lives and we will miss him dearly. Although we feel empty he will forever be in our hearts"
The Clucas Family
"In loving memory of Kai, our loving clumsy boy who could always make you smile no matter what"
Kelly & Phil Kulawsky
"Oaky's early years are unknown to us, she adopted my husbands father who lived in Gillingham in her adult life. Years later we took Oaky home with us after my father-in-law could no longer live independantly. Oaky made friends with our other cats Hendrix and Leo and all three lived together quite happily, in fact, although Oaky was the smallest and female, she would give the boys a clip roud the ear as if saying "Behave you two!" each time they walked past her.
Susan and Robin Amos

Missy was rehomed to Mr & Mrs Webster in February 2015 after her previous owner sadly passed away. She took a while to settle as she was so close to her previous owner, but it didn't take her long to feel at home with Poppy, Mr & Mrs Websters other Cocker Spaniel who looks just like Missy! RIP Missy.
Passed away at home extremely peacefully, with mum, on 4th October 2016. "Trust Ty met you, don't start tormenting him again after his 3 years of peace. Mrs Boo and I will look after your beach hut. Love you son". Mum (Sue) & Mrs Boo xx.
"Monty, the most loyal friend we could possibly have ever had. You leave a huge gap in our hearts and our lives....miss you so much" 15th May 2002 to 10th October 2016. Paul & Marion Major

"Freddie was a one off. He was often grumpy and acted like he was planning world domination, but he was very very special and we all loved him dearly. He was 'My Boy'. His fur was the softest, thickest blue coat and he had the louded purr in the world. I miss him very much"
Tracy Henshaw & family
"Clem was a friendly and loving cat who never liked to be alone. Her favourite things were breakfast cereal (never had a bowl without giving some to Clem!), sitting in the sun, relaxing by the fire and being close to people. Rest in peace Clementine Behn, thanks for the good times you have us XXXX"
The Behn Family
"Just wanted to thank you all for taking care of Suze over the past 12 years or so. I have got to know most of you pretty well over that time with all the ups and downs and trips to the practice. It was very difficult making the decision to let her go but absolutely the right thing to do. I miss her lots as she was a real character but between us we managed to give her a long life -17 years - against the odds I'd say. The house seems ultra tidy now there's no bedding, litter tray, food, water and fur cluttering the place up and there is so much more time in the morning. I'd prefer it as it was though :-(. Too soon to contemplate and new feline (or canine) companion at the moment but perhaps we'll see you again at some point. For now, you can put away the protective gloves and towels! Thanks again for everything." Phil Bone
"Our best friend has been taken away so young. The hurt in our hearts will never go away. So, so sad, will love him forever"

"Jenna, no more can I see the sadness in your eyes, we knew it was time for you to go. My beautiful, sweet natured girl. Goodbye to a much loved companion, forver in our thoughts. Going to miss you my friend, so much"
Dawn Neeve, Ray Allum & Wes
"Bruno was our pet Staffie, a loyal companion, proof that even with a bad start you can get the best from your dog. Luckily his belly was always bigger than his brain and you could train him to do anything for good a treat or chest rub. We nearly lost him in 2015 to lung worm but Duncan and his team did an amazing job and he got the all clear. Unfairly my little man then had a brain tumour and we have now laid him to rest for the last time. Gone but never forgotten, in our empty hearts he will always be with us. Missed and loved always. Thank you to the team at Wigmore for everything.
Your Sister Sophie misses you to she's got no one to pick on (except dinner time when you were best friends for a while). She was always the boss and you knew it. "
From Ty Wallis 'Bruno's Dad forever'
"Our Nibbles ( Nibbies) was such a kind sweet and content bunny. He always made us smile and gave our family such joy in the nine and a bit years we were blessed to have had him. He lived a perfect life in his rabbit penthouse and enjoyed lots of love and attention from all who met him. He liked nothing better than to be carried like a baby. He is sorely missed and is now resting in our garden surrounded by flowers and ornaments chosen by our children. Sleep well little man x"
Liza Towler & Family
"Flopsie Bunnie aka Flossie"
"We miss her so very much, as she was such an important member of our family.
She had a great life as our House Bunnie, for 9 1/2 years. We could not have asked for a more sweeter, gentler, cheeky, mischievous, characterful little rabbit.
We have laid her to rest under the Magnolia tree. RIP Flossie Bunnie
Here are a few funny snaps taken, which we think depict her personality and reflect why we loved her so much.
Huge gratitudes to all at Wigmore Vets, for your care of her over the years and in her final moments."
The Twitchett Family
"Our little Jasmine, our friend and companion, So very much missed, "Good night little one""
Mr & Mrs Furlong
"You were such a friendly, loving, lively and funny cat. Fond memories of you include your favourite game of throwing the ball up the stairs for you to chase, the time you bit a hole in the bag of cat biscuits, the lovely cuddles you gave us whenever we got home and your ability to purr loudly in any situation (even at the vets!) We’ll miss finding your fur all over the house and on our clothes! We won’t miss the times you brought mice in the house to play with! And although you and Donald never cuddled up together, we know you were secretly friends and he really misses you Hope you’re having fun in kitty-heaven, eating all the Dreamies you like and playing with other pets lost too soon. Miss you Pops. Laura and Darryl x"
'In loving memory of our Alfie. This was when Alfie was at his happiest playing in a big pile of autumn leaves. He will be sadly missed by us all"

"To a friend sorely missed"
"Timber was a very special dog. He was my Guide Dog and my best friend. He introduced himself to me in January 2007 and we did have some up's and down's whilst training and once we qualified. He was not only a guide dog, he was also a healing dog. He touched everyone he came into contact with and enhanced their lives. He will be sorely missed by many people including me and my husband David"
Sadly missed by Mr & Mrs Mills
Jessica was an amazing rabbit and friend who brought lots of happiness to our lives and will be sadly missed by us all. Despite all of her health problems in the past and the excellent level of care she always received by the staff she pulled through all of them right until the end. Goodnight my little sweetheart 2008-2016.
Alan & Emma Newman

20 years have been and gone with moments I won't forget

Our dear little Hermes rest in peace, you will be sadly missed by the whole family. In your short little life you brought us happiness, laughter and sometimes worry, especially when you escaped and hid under the bed for what seemed like ages!
Mr & Mrs Spencer & Family
You came into our lives as a 6 week old puppy, a bundle of joy, a treasured friend. Our best Buddy from start to end.
Buddy was a proud Lhasa Apso, master of his home, so funny with an amazing personality. He played a big part in all of our lives. He was our sunshine. Our last weekend together I held you in my arms, as I cried you licked away my tears, my heart was breaking to say goodbye, as I sung you lullabies, but your time had come my baby bud.
You were the best dog ever, one in a million, our home will never be the same again.
We all miss you so much.X X X X X X X X X X X X X

"This is Tiggy, we got her as a kitten 18 years ago.
From day one she was trouble, wrecking the Christmas tree, until her last days she was still keeping the birds in their guard, everyone loved her, she saw all three of our children come into the world and even made friends with Monty our dog. The photo is her in her favourite spot in the sun. Bless you little girl, we will miss you thank you for being in our lives.
You're at peace now Tigster, RIP"
